Did you know…

– Lighting is, on average, 11% of a house of worship’s energy costs.

– Switching from inefficient T-12 bulbs to 68% more efficient T-8s reduces your monthly utility costs.

– Money saved on utilities can be spent on other pressing needs of your congregation—or on further efficiency upgrades!

– Switching to efficient bulbs also reduces the amount of CO2 released into the atmosphere.

Ask your members to “Adopt-a-Light” – it’s a great investment!

Before: 4 bulbs & 2 ballasts, 166 wattstroffer 1troffer 2

After: 2 bulbs & 1 ballast, 53 watts

Using volunteer labor—10 volunteers, 2 weekends, no experience necessary—you can keep the costs of the project to a minimum!

Cost is approximately $50 per fixture, less if you have a licensed electrician in your congregation.

3 easy steps:

– Take out the old bulbs, clean the fixtures

– A licensed electrician changes the ballasts

– Insert the new bulbs and close the fixture.

Our consultant can talk you through the program and even help you get the best prices.
